Community Art Projects Darwin 200
John Dyer was appointed as the artist in residence for the 2009 Darwin 200 celebrations. As part of his creative work John encouraged hundreds of children to explore Darwin's legacy and to produce paintings of their own. Working with Newquay Zoo, the Heritage Lottery Fund, Falmouth Art Gallery, Cornwall Council and the National Maritime Museum he negotiated a month long exhibition of the children's paintings and an interactive online gallery.
