When emailing, please send us a good quality image of your picture; sharp, well lit, straight and with your picture filling the frame. (You may have a lovely smile but we really don't want you in the photo - sorry !)
It's very important that you get permission from your parent or guardian before sending us your pictures.
By sending us your picture you give The John Dyer Gallery and working partners the right to reproduce your painting on the web and to possibly print your picture out for display.
All pictures are moderated and the gallery reserves the right to refuse entry if we feel a picture is unsuitable or of poor quality. This could be for a number of reasons including poor photography, if the image has been obviously traced, or if it includes copyright material from another artist or publication.
We would like you to send us a photograph of your painting on email but if this is impossible then you may post it to us at The John Dyer Gallery, PO Box 285, Falmouth, Cornwall. TR11 9AD.
If you forget to give us your contact details - or forget to fill in the SUBJECT line of the email correctly we will not be able to include your picture.
If your picture doesn't arrive with us then we will be unable to display it - you should see your picture on our online gallery about 10 days after you submit it by email. If it isn't there please send it again or contact us on: sales@johndyergallery.co.uk
We plan to print the entries out and display them in the National Maritime Museum, but if for any reason this is not possible or if we have too many to print then a selection will be chosen for display and/or the pictures will only be displayed online.
If you send us your original painting we are very sorry but we will be unable to return it to you. We will however try to get it online for you.
The judges decision is final.
