John Dyer has been asked by the organisers of the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta in Falmouth to be the Official Artist for the event. The artist was also the official artist for the 1998 Tall Ships event in Falmouth.
The artist and The John Dyer Gallery are official partners for the Tall Ships in Falmouth and will be bringing an exciting collection of exhibitions, events and publications to the event

John Dyer is one of Britain's leading and
best known contemporary painters. Born in 1968 his work
embraces colour and the 'Song of Life'. John's subjects
are mostly places he knows well and they often have a
strong autobiographical content.John's
paintings are optimistic, dynamic and exciting, resulting
from a working method that is unique to him and which
enables him to react directly to nature.
