John Dyer toured Japan in 2007 when his work was exhibited across 9 galleries from Kyoto to Tokyo. Making public appearances and personally signing photos for his many Japanese fans occupied much of his time, but together with artist Joanne Short and their family they all explored this fascinating country, cities and temples and this exhibition will bring those experiences together in a new exhibition of paintings inspired by Japan.
This exhibition will be released later in 2009/2010

Both artists found the blend of culture, ancient temples, geisha and the high tech skyscrapers fascinating.
While in Japan they also experienced an earthquake and narrowly missed the largest cyclone Japan has ever seen.
