Private View Invitation:
Tuesday May 30th 2006 at 7pm. At The Eden Project.

John Dyer has been in Australia painting with Banrock Station - the famous wine makers and conservationists.

Heritage Lottery Funds John Dyer Painting

"Heritage Lottery funding has enabled Falmouth Art Gallery to commission a work by the distinguished Falmouth artist, John Dyer, to mark the Brunel 200 celebrations.

Entitled 'Gateway to Cornwall the Brunel 200 celebrations' features Brunel's bridge at Plymouth and a portrait of the artist with his wife, Joanne Short, and their daughter Martha-Lilly enjoying the firework display. The work will become part of the permanent collection and was funded by Brunel 200 an initiative of Bristol Cultural Development Partnership."

New John Dyer Gallery
St. Michael's Mount

St. Michael's Mount is the first venue in Cornwall to devote a section in their retail shop to The John Dyer Gallery. A good selection of John and Joanne's Art Range and Prints are available under the new gallery section on the Mount.

New Art Jigsaw Range

Following the success of the first 'John Dyer Art Jigsaw' launched in conjunction with Eden at Christmas, John has licensed a further set of paintings so that Tresco Abbey Gardens, Trebah Gardens, Glendurgan Gardens and St. Michael's Mount will all have their own Art Puzzles.

The puzzles should be available by June 2006 from the gardens and also online from The John Dyer Gallery.

New Art Stationery Range
Lime I Pink I Purple I Blue

A Fantastic new range of stationery all designed by John Dyer and produced in Cornwall has been launched. There are 12 items in the range which includes A7 and A5 note pads and square note blocks. The range can be found in outlets across the UK and on Tresco, The Mount, Eden and of course online from the gallery.

National Trust

The National Trust have purchased a large original painting by John Dyer for their permanent collection. The painting can be seen at the entrance to Glendurgan Gardens and it can also be seen in all the promotional material around the South West connected to Glendurgan Garden.

John Dyer in Japan

John Dyer's work will soon be available in Japan. John has agreed a new deal with a publishers in Japan to distribute very high quality fine art prints and to exhibit small collections of original paintings. More details will follow in the next newsletter.
