'Oranges and Lemons' has been painted from the centre of Alan's Garden looking back towards his famous greenhouse where countless plants have been raised for the garden. The painting shows Alan's love of mediterranean plants which John has painted in his unique way to create a vibrant and citrus coloured painting. Alan can be seen tending his plants by the greenhouse while his black cat quietly waits for him. You can almost hear the trickling fountain and feel the heat of the summer sun in this wonderful painting.
