Description
St Michael's Mount and Mounts Bay is a location that artist John Dyer often visits to paint and to spend time on the beach with his family. John has lived on the island as resident artist and knows the landscape and people of this very special place well.
The painting shows a high tide at the Mount with fishemen, sailors and swimmers enjoying the water. Ravens circle the castle and seagulls and puffins swoop across the sky. The foreground is a blaze of colour with sunshine flowers and palms.
