John Dyer, Joanne Short & Ted Dyer
All the latest Cornish paintings from our gallery artists will be released in our 2015 Summer Exhibition. This exhibition promises to be a real treat for fans of the artsists and of the county of Cornwall. Sub-tropical plants and flowers, the glorious coast, harbours and beaches will all be explored.
The exhibition will be held in Falmouth, Cornwall and opens on July 31st.
During May 2015, British Artist John Dyer and Amazonian Indian Artist Nixiwaka Yawanawá will be working together in the largest captive rainforest on the planet at the Eden Project to produce a series of new paintings exploring the Spirit of the Rainforest from the Western and Amazonian cultural perspective. This will be a unique artistic and cultural exchange and a world first.
The new paintings will all be based on the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil and the artists experiences of their time spent in this unique environment. The plants at the Eden Project will form a natural source of reference for the artists as they use the biome as their art studio. The paintings will be vibrant celebrations of the rainforest, packed with energy, life and colour.
We will also have a continually updated selected of new paintings from all our gallery artists displayed in the gallery and online.
