‘Tall Ship Rally’ by Olivia, age 8

TALL SHIP RALLY

Down by the sea where the moon light be,
Fishermen sail across the big blue sea,
The fireworks explode in the dark night sky,
Which sometimes make the babies cry,
Everybody starts dancing to get the big party started.

The white horses gallop and neigh,
To the songs that wonderful day,
Lifeboats and yachts sail across the large ocean,
Watching the fireworks light up the sky,
The tall ships slowly follow,
Watching the fireworks explode again and again,
All the different colours filling the street,
What a special treat.

Tall Ships, small ships everybody loves them.

Families coming to join in with the celebrations,

Sitting on the roof still hanging out with my buddy

‘The Fun Fair’ by Brittany Jackson, Age 14 Years

As the ships come in the music starts
As the music starts people are coming out of their shells
They come out to party to have a good time

The crew jump off the ships their fun just begins
Fireworks are set off to enjoy
For one week no one sleeps

By the time the ships have to set sail people stop
Fun stops;. dead in their tracks
You wont see anyone for a while now

As i stand there watching the ships go i get a feeling
I watch the ghosts disappear in the sun lite reflected sea
I cant help but feel an emptiness
